Rome’s Trattoria Checchino dal 1887 serves excellent typical food in very nice dishes. The restaurant is located in the borough Testaccio. The room is very nice. The staff speaks English. If you are looking for a typical place during your stay, it will be perfect!
2. Enjoy pizzas at Pizzeria Da Francesco
The Pizzeria da Francesco is one of the oldest pizzeria of the historical center of the city. It’s one of the last place where Romans are still going. The staff is very welcoming and warming, it’s a must to go place.
3. Be amazed at the Basilica of St. Peter
The Basilica of St. Peter was created by the emperor Constantin in memory of Apostle Peter. It’s the biggest basilica from the Christianity in the world. Even if you are not religious, we advise you to go there. This basilica has been bettered for a 1.000 years and you will admire works of art from Raphael and Michel-Ange. Last advise: don’t forget that it’s a religious place so short skirt and dresses are forbidden.

The Via Condotti is one of the most prestigious and luxurious shopping street of Italy. To find “antiquities” in Roma, there are a lot of markets. Le most known is, no doubt, the Porta Portese’s one. It’s opened on Sundays from 7 am to 2 pm. It’s one of the biggest markets in Europe. You will find there antiquities, pets, clothes, paintings, drawings, jewelry, posters, food… Porta Portese is located at the Via Ostiense – Trastevere.
7. Meet animals at the Bioparco of Rome
The Bioparco is among the largest and oldest Zoological Gardens in Italy. Its main objective is to contribute to general public and school education on a broad range of environmental issues. 9. Have a magic moment at the Fontana di Trevi
The Fontaine de Trevi is the most artistical of the city, known around the world thanks to “La Dolce Vita” of Fellini. The fountain was build in 19 BC by Marco Vipsiano Agrippa. It brought water to fill the thermae built in the Pantheon. The water was called “Virgin water” in reference to a little girl who gave water to thirsty soldiers. We recommend you visit the fountain by night because the lights are magical at this time.
10. Have a walk at the Villa Borghese
The Villa Borghese is the biggest park in Rome. This green place in the center of the city is opened to public since 1902. The villa Borghese offers nice walks. You will find there the Villa Medicis and a lots of museums.
