What you will love about this home

I live in a very nice flat in the southern part of Nuremberg which is a very ``metropolitan`` part of the city with public transportation right outside our house (tram/streetcar). So it's very easy to get anywhere in town from where I live. Also the main train station is only a short, maybe 10 minute walk away. I live in two very nice and large rooms: one bedroom with a 140cm bed, my little e-piano, my dvd collection, drawer and closet and one ``office`` room which is partly also a living room with two book shelves (I have a lot of English books as well which you are welcome to read) a small TV, a stereo, a couch and so on. You get the picture. I share the flat with a male flatmate who is a great guy and very helpful for visitors (and me when I first moved to Nuremberg four years ago) since he was born in Nuremberg and knows a lot about the city and how to get to places easily etc. We have a very nice bathroom with a bathtub / shower and a little balcony which is very green and nice in summer and fall. It is located just outside of our kitchen so it is easily accessible by everyone.
I really like living here and would like to trade my space in only once in awhile...

What you will love in the neighborhood

Nuremberg is the second-largest Bavarian city. It boasts a unique mixture of tradition and modern times. Both people born here and people who moved here appreciate its extraordinary quality of life. At the same time, Nuremberg is a modern city with 500,000 inhabitants, and the centre of a prospering European metropolitan region with 2.5 million inhabitants.

Nuremberg's many sights make sure that no visitor will be bored. From the Germanische Nationalmuseum, Albrecht Dürer's House, the New Museum for Art and Design right through to the Documentation Centre Party Rally Grounds, over 30 museums offer exhibitions on a wide variety of topics.

Those who prefer open-air exploration, may take a look at some of Nuremberg's many historical buildings. Its almost thousand years of history are still obvious in its cityscape. The imperial castle is particularly impressive. Nuremberg's churches and fountains are also well worth a visit.
