A small paradise: removed from the world, it’s a place to simply be happy
Our place is located in a family farm of 12 hectares (30 acres), with a private natural Rain Forest Reserve with water springs and hiking trails. We have animals and big gardens. The house is a big Log Cabin built with pine trees planted by our father Don Lolo, who started developing a sugar cane farm since 1940 and by living a healthy and peaceful life he got to live 103 years old.
The house has five rooms available to our guests, two rooms with two double beds and two single beds with a private bathroom and two rooms with two double beds and a shared bathroom. There is also another room with a double bed and private bathroom. It can accommodate up to 18 persons. The Log Cabin also includes a major social area with two bars and a ping pong and pool table for the enjoyment of our guests and it is surrounded by a big terrace with hanging chairs a hammocks to enjoy the view and the weather.
The place is surrounded by other farms from the same family, with additional facilities to our visitors like a Wooden Oven Farm to Table Restaurant with a local and Mediterranean fusion cuisine.
You will also be able to enjoy and participate of the daily farm activities like harvesting fruits and vegetables, milking cows, making cheese, horseback riding, etc.
Close to our farm you can do beautiful hiking to waterfalls and lagoons within a major National Park and can also enjoy an ecological resort of hot water springs at just 7 kilometers from the property.
Quesada City was founded by our ancestors 150 years ago, and is only 4 kilometers away from the property and provides all the required facilities of a City but living in the countryside.
The location is very convenient to visit the Arenal Volcano, Rio Celeste, Sarapiquí and Zarcero and is within 90 minutes from the Intl. Airport. We can also help with tours to white water rafting, line zipping, hiking to other locations and visiting beautiful towns up in the mountains.
Probably the best characteristic of our place is that is not a crowded tourist development, so you really get to know Costa Ricans in their normal life, enjoying their traditions and local cuisine.
There is only one room that is exclusive for a family member that normally takes care of the farm and makes sure that our visitors are enjoying their stay.
