What you will love about this home
A 3 bedroom flat in one of the liveliest streets in Copenhagen in the multicultural part of the city. The street, Blågårdsgade has numerous cafes, restaurants, bars and art studios and includes a large Square that hosts events all through the summer, some planned, some adhoc. The general atmosphere of the area is laid back and diverse. The flat lies just 150 metres from the string of lakes that surround the ancient city centre and are perfect for morning walks and evening strolls. It is also a few hundred metres from a metro station, but you can also rent bikes close by, and this is the best way to explore the city. The flat is comfortable, easily sleeping a family of four with one double and two single bedrooms, a cosy kitchen with dining table and a lounge with a view to street below. There is a large back yard with playgrounds, football court and places to grill.
What you will love in the neighborhood
Copenhagen is people sized. It has enough going on that you will never get bored but you will not be overwhelmed. It has intimate streets and in the summer these streets are alive. Cafes, bars and restaurants burst out onto the pavements. Everyone cycles and even if you've never cycled before you don't have to worry here - you have your own pavement everywhere you go, seperated from cars by a kerb. There are several great beaches within a short distance from the city - take the metro or your bike. There are even beaches and spots to swim in the canals in the middle of the city. When its not warm enough to hang out and soak in the street life there are museums of all kinds, art galleries, theatres, the opera house. Then there is the Latin Quarter full of vintage and cool second hand, intimate cafes and bars.
