What you will love in the neighborhood
Adorable villa right next to the gorgeous shore of the Red Sea, it's colourful corals and wondrous fish. A backyard door leads to a narrow alley that takes you directly to the beach in less than two minutes walking. Surrounded by plants & palm trees. The villa is in the heart of the Bedouin neighbourhood of Assallah. This means that most roads aren't paved, goats and sheep roam the streets and it isn't rare to bump into camels. The beach is peaceful and quiet in the mornings and full of life in the afternoons when the Bedouin children go for a swim, their mothers go out fishing octopus and their fathers praying at sunset while the desert mountains that surround Dahab get reddish or pink and the moon rises (once a month totally full and orange) above the mountains of Saudi Arabia and over the Red Sea. And yet, all this is only five minutes by bike from the hub of the touristic part of Dahab, where the beach has become a set of chill-out cafes along the shore and divers are the commonest everyday sight. But Dahab is not only a paradise for divers, it is a paradise for kite-surfers, windsurfers and desert-lovers. But you don't need to be any of them. If you like snorkelling, that's more than enough, because the Red Sea is simply AMAZING!
The house is surrounded by tiny supermarkets and fruit shops and a five-minute walk will take you to the bigger ones in the main square, where guests can also find an ATM, a pharmacy, a bakery, a vet and some restaurants.
