What your guests will love about your home
My home is a beautifully renovated and well maintained historic home in Charles Town, WV. Charles Town is a nationally historic town. The Appalachian Trail, a national treasure as well as being
internationally recognized, is located within 5 miles from my house. Harpers Ferry, WV is located 5 miles away as well and is the location of pivotal events related to the Civil War and it is a
location for many outdoor activities including cycling, hiking, rafting, fishing, and more. Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD are about a one-hour and fifteen minute drive. Nationally recognized
vineyards are all around just over the state line in Virginia. Charles Town has a kitschy, sleepy downtown feel. The town was developed by Charles Washington and I live on George St., named for his
brother, our first President. Charles Town is the location where John Brown the abolitionist was tried and hung for his raid on the armory in Harpers Ferry, and event that contributed to the start of
the civil war.
