Our house is very calm, spacious and located just next to the medieval center of Le Puy.
It is an old 18th century building, completely renovated, with a garden, a covered terrace and an out-ground swimming pool (during the season)

The local outdoor farmer's market (which stands on Saturday morning).
The close proximity of the historical center, with monuments, shops and restaurants.

Our house is ideal for welcoming a family with children.
At the first floor, there are a large kitchen and dining room, a lounge with a piano and a sofa bed (double bed), a laundry and toilets. At the second floor, there are a living room with sofas (one is simple bed) and chimney, and a master suite with shower-room. At the third floor, there are two rooms (one with two cribs and the other one with one double bed and a mezzanine with one single bed and a little sofa bed), a bathroom and separate toilets. Upstairs, a large room (office with pullout bed - 2 single beds) has been fit out in the attic.
A garden equipped with covered terrace and out-ground swimming pool : we feel as if we were in the countryside whereas we are actually in town.
Le Puy is an art and history city (which is classified at the UNESCO world heritage). It is outstanding for its natural surroundings (volcanic basin) and exceptional monuments. Moreover, it is the starting point of the pilgrimage to Compostela. The city is in a preserved mountain region : Massif of Meyzenc with alpine and Scandinavian ski resort, the Loire gorges and foothills of Ardèche.
Numerous landscapes and outstanding sites (Arlempdes, cascade de la Beaume (water falls), Lac du Bouchet...)

Le Puy is located at two hours from Lyons by car or train. As Sonia's mother lives there, you can stay at her home for few days if you want and be able to visit the second biggest city in France, the home of cuisine a la française.
