What you will love about this home
My apartment is about 60 square meters with high ceilings. In the living room are two pianos, a vintage Steinway B and an upright Yamaha, a fold-out sofa that can sleep two, wall-to-wall carpeting, a dining table that opens for four and double-glazed windows. The bedroom is smallish with a queen-size loft bed, flat-screen tv, international free telephone, carpeting, closet and chest of crawers; it's also very quiet and looks out on the courtyard. The kitchen is typically Parisian small but has most things you'd need. The bathroom has a shower and washer-dryer. It's two floors up and there's an elevator. The flat is not really suitable for young children.
What you will love in the neighborhood
Lots of good food shopping (hey, this is Paris), a fabulous Italian store/restaurant in the building. A cute little park a few blocks from here. Two metro lines around the corner, and 7 others within 5-minute walking distance, plus several bus lines. Super central: 5 minutes to the Pompidou center, 10 to the Marais, 20 to Notre Dame, the Louvre and a bit more to both opera houses.
