What you will love about this home
We live in a beautiful millstone brick house, built in 1850, in a very peaceful and typical French town. We have recently transformed the outdated electrical & structural components and its interior into a modern, comfortable and eclectic design, to reflect our own taste and personality. We have retained much of the home’s periodic original details such as the wooden floors and fireplace.
Set in a charming suburban town next to Paris, and surrounded by greenery, our home is a stunning holiday getaway to experience the quiet French countryside and at the same time live the exciting cosmopolitan city of Paris.
We have all the comforts needed for a perfect stay: two television sets, a WII console, a Wi-Fi connection, and a computer with of course an access to the Internet. If you fancy outdoor sports and discover the neighborhood, we are happy to lend our bikes. Our spacious garden and terrace is an oasis to relax for cocktails, barbeque or moreover a game of ping-pong.
The house is conveniently situated next to the train station : a 5-minute walk and the RER A brings you directly to Paris (Place de la Nation) in 10 minutes. You will be able to reach Disneyland Paris in about 30 minutes.
Also minutes away from the house, you can also find the local French bakery (traditional baguette, croissant and their specialty, macarons among others), local butcher, fishmonger, regular local markets every Saturday and Wednesday, as well as the grocery, pharmacy (open everyday) and various restaurants. True to its French nature, you can also find here in town a caviste /wine merchant. If you’re lucky, you may just be invited to a wine tasting event and try the most recommended wine by the sommelier.
Size: 1500 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an office/library, a newly renovated modern kitchen and a 380 square feet living and dining area.
