What you will love about this home

My home is very original and is in no way like others. Colorful and joyful! Very nice and originally furnished home. 4 bedrooms, 2 with double beds and two with single beds. Living room with view on the garden. Very quiet and well located, shopping within walking distance, not even need a car for that. There is also a room we use as a small office. We have a nice cat called Queen who just needs to be fed (she usually stays outdoors but is alloowed to come indoors) We are a family of four, we have 2 boys aged 9 and 14. Plenty of games and toys are available.

What you will love in the neighborhood

Situated in the heart of the city, nearby the Medieval district and 5 minutes walk to downtown. You have acces to all you need without a car, though we could exchange it too. You have access to the main shops and you can walk to the train station. We are 160 miles from Paris, 30 miles from Le Mans and 70 miles from the Normandy beaches. Indeed Ouistreham is 70 miles from Alençon where you will love spending time at the beach ... Enjoy the famous Mont St Michel and St Malo, about 65 miles from here. Enjoy the city of Le Mans famous for its moto and car races, but also for its impressive medieval part of the town. (30 miles or 50 minutes by train). Nearby you will enjoy the normandy countryside with especially 2 stunning villages: St Cénery and St Léonard. Forest is also within easy reach (15 minutes driving), you can even see it from the bedroom window. If you love horses, the great Haras du Pin is a must-see. Situated in the PArc Naturel Régional du PErche, you will enjoy a stunning Normandy scenery.

Additional information

In Alençon: Lace's museum is very interesting (UNESCO classified). The Halle aux Blé is an impressive Eiffel-designed monument from the 19th century. The Great Basilica stands right downtown in the main pedestrian street. (There was the Canonisation of Thérèse Martin' in 2015). The city is a mixed of Medieval houses and 19th century houses. You will be able to go shopping downtown, enjoying the nice big park, there is also a cinema, a theater, a swimming pool 5 minutes driving from the house, you could even walk there. But mainly, I would say you will love gastronomy!
