What your guests will love about your neighborhood
A very short walk will take you to the canal, along which Berliners like to walk or picnic. Just ’round the corner you will find all the hip bars of Kreuzkölln around Weserstrasse, Weichselstrasse,
Pannierstrasse and Sonnenallee itself. Also within a few minutes walk are around eight supermarkets (ranging from the super-cheap Netto Discount to the rather fancy organic Bio Company, as well as
Kaufland, Rewe, Aldi, Lidl, etc.) and also the shopping arcades / shopping malls near Rathaus Neukölln, featuring two H&M stores, Media Markt, Fitness First, etc.
Public transport from here is great with the nearby Rathaus Neukölln and Karl Marx Strasse U-bahn stations giving you easy access to Mitte, Kreuzberg, everywhere really. In fact it’s not far to
Kreuzberg on foot and the bus on Sonnenallee itself is also handy. Plus Neukölln is within very quick reach of the airport, either by easy public transport or a short cab ride.
and of course, the amazing turkish food stores and restaurants - and, above all, the market at Paul Linke Ufer on Tuesdays and Fridays...
Enjoy your stay in Berlin in a beautiful, newly-refurbished 60 square meter apartment on Sonnenallee in the arty heart of Neukölln / Kreuzkölln. The apartment is bright, airy and very spacious with
high ceilings and lovely wooden floors. It has just been fully refurbished and furnished to a high standard so you will be amongst the very first to experience it’s brand new sleek luxury interior.
The large bedroom features a giant real bed (180x200cm, which is much bigger than a double) and an additional sofa bed (a small double) that can be moved into the lounge to sleep another guest (or
couple). The brand new kitchen is fully-equipped with hobs, oven, microwave, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, cafetière and a full complement of kitchen utensils. In fact you can easily
accommodate upto eight people for dinner, seated at an elegant bespoke dining table with matching cutlery and crockery. Or simply relax on the vintage Chesterfield leather three-seat sofa and enjoy
the great light from all the large windows. (Of course, the blinds can be drawn in the bedroom and lounge if you’d prefer to keep the sunlight out for a lie-in.) The apartment works well and feels
good. It’s naturally cool in the Summer (but with fans for additional cooling) and is kept toasty in the Winter with central heating. The high-spec bathroom is nicely designed and fitted to exacting
standards with a large bath and good shower and you will of course be provided with a full set of towels. The apartment is on the second floor of a great block and has a lovely balcony from which to
survey the ongoing life of, arguably, Berlin’s most charismatic neighbourhood.
