Bob has described his/her home in English.

What you will love about this home

Our 10 sided 'round houses' are cozily nestled together for either a romantic retreat for a couple or a family gathering (BUT far enough apart for a little privacy)! There are a total of 3 separate bungalows that are outfitted with two double beds in each, so a total of 12 people can be accommodated with 4 people in each bungalow. We have added another bungalow and also a TREEHOUSE, with two separate rooms, but it is very rustic so far, with a composting toilet located downstairs, and a 'thunder mug' in each room (a 5 gallon paint bucket and roll of toilet paper you must dump every morning in the septic recepticle) .
located one above the other. you can have your choice of either the treehouse or one of the bungalows.

The views are to die for from the treehouse and you can see all the way 5 miles on a clear day to utila town.
the views are to die for from each of the bungalows because all you see is the azure blue waters the beckon you to dive in! That is another thing, Here in utila there are over 23 dive shops which makes it one of the most inexpensive places in the world to learn how to dive, dive, dive. utila is located at the end of the 2nd worlds largest barrier reef, the first one being australia's GREAT BARRIER REEF!

All of the bugalows have azure blue water views and directly located on a white sandy beach, where you can walk/trip/sleepwalk/ skip or crabcrawl directly into the water and start your day of snorkeling, diving or kayaking! The houses are built with beautiful local lumber that is built to last and has a very cozy, warm, wood feeling. There also is a three story dock, of which many groups have decided to do YOGA in the mornings.

There are FREE double kayaks to use while you are staying here also.

What you will love in the neighborhood

there really is not neighborhood as it is far removed and private away from it all. you can kayak 20 minutes across the bay for a small little village of around 500 people. i just notice on the map that it shows us in utila town and the is NOT the case. we are located across from pigeon cay, so i do not want you to think you are going to be run over by cars, motorcycles, etc on the main road in town. there are NO cars here, and no roads and it is only accessible by private panga. i cannot seem to get the dot to move off of the main town center.

roll right out of bed and onto the white sandy beach and go snorkeling or diving all day long, or kayak to a deserted beach and play gilligan and maryanne for the day! hang out a hamock and just chill for the day! or romp around and fall asleep under the stars on the dock!

The Beach is a coconuts throw away from the door.

Additional information

just to make this perfectly clear, the ferry or airplane will drop you into utila town where there is another daily shuttle service at 11;30-noon from morgans boat dock next to the ferry 'terminal' from mr. donald who comes out to pigeon cay or to sunnis cove but you must let him know because he will not automatically stop at sunni's cove unless you specifically ask him to do so. he charges 60 lempiras to come here (about $3.50- $3.00 depending on exchange rate of lempiras to dollar) most people will shop in utila town for larger harder to find food items, but the staples are all out here on the cays. i am still struggling on how to get the dot to move AWAY AND OFF of utila town and put the location more accurately.
