A family home: convenient, comfy, and designed for the whole family
Before long, with the subway, you can reach all major tourist destinations of the city (St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain ...). But if you have with you good shoes you can walk to the basilicas of St. John Lateran (about 5.5 km) and Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, also the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso. A few subway stops are the famous Via Condotti, Via Frattina, Villa Borghese, Via Cavour, Villa Celimontana, etc.
The apartment is located in a quiet street and this isolates it from the chaos of Tuscolana Street, making it very quiet and pleasant. Delightfully furnished, bright and welcoming, is served by public transport, either by Metro A (stop Giulio Agricola) that several buses (558 Via Casilina, 590 for Piazza Risorgimento / Ottaviano / Prati, 650 to Piazza San Giovanni / King of Rome / Via Appia, N1-night bus which covers almost the whole area Tuscolana / Appian Way / Center of Rome until Battistini Metro Station). You get to Termini within 20 minutes by metro.
The area is excellent for being very well connected to the rest of the city (metro A to 200 meters) and for the living, there are parks, gyms, swimming pools, shops, banks, supermarkets (some opened even on Sunday), pharmacies, hairdressers and beauty centers, shopping centers, restaurants and pizzerias, some even vegetarian. Everything you need is available in the district. Also, the apartment is located less than 500 meters from the famous Aqueduct Park, that I strongly recommend to visit. In his area there are numerous artifacts from the Roman era, the Renaissance and the nineteenth century. There are, in fact, six of the eleven great aqueducts built by the Romans, and a renaissance, and other buildings of the Roman and later eras, including the Villa Vignacce, the Tomb of the Hundred Steps, a tank with a turret, several tombs, the Water Mariana trench. The aqueducts are those of the Anio Vetus, in underground, Marcia, of Tepula, Iulia, and Felice, overlapping, Acqua Claudia and Anio Novus, also superimposed.
