What you will love about this home
It’s a delightful and romantic penthouse with a unique terrace overlooking the near park and an unforgettable view. The apartment is ‘full optional’ (WiFi, satellite TV, air-conditioning, free calls to Europe, USA, Canada, DVD, CD, washing-machine…) and the surroundings are plenty of resources (shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pizzerias, bars…) as well as very good bus connections, easy parking and beautiful parks. The apartment has a bright living room and a well-equipped compact kitchen, and upstairs a romantic bedroom (an authentic love nest!), with a double bed arranged with high-quality linens. The private terrace is perfect for peaceful breakfasts and aperitifs surrounded by a splendid scenery. The apartment is in the turret of an ancient villa, with a great view. The lift arrives at the third floor, then to rich the turret, one floor upper, there is a quite narrow winding staircase. On your arrival, we’ll welcome you with a customized information kit. During your stay you can rely on a friendly assistance as we live in the same villa and will do our best for help you to enjoy your stay in Rome and ‘do as Romans do’.
What you will love in the neighborhood
Most Roman people consider our quarter the place where they would like to live. The location, central and safe but not touristy, next to Villa Borghese and Via Veneto (known for Federico Fellini' s movie ‘La Dolce Vita'), is one of the most beautiful in Rome, a prestigious area of quiet little streets, liberty villas and parks, at walking distance from historic center and very well connected with all the main sights. So, coming here, you have the chance to reach every interesting place of Rome in a short time, while enjoying a special place, apart from the mess of overcrowded areas. Despite of the chaotic Roman traffic, it is a real hidden isle of peace, the ideal place to welcome you after a day spent wandering around the city or in and out of the shops. Actually, it is a residential area inside the city centre, quite unique in Rome, that gives you the opportunity to both easily visiting the Roman sites and having a meaningful idea about Roman life, without boring about distances or noise and traffic (everyone coming here appreciates it a lot).
Just round the corner, you find everything you could possibly need is within walking distance: supermarkets, excellent restaurants and nice pizzerias, wine bars, markets and shopping centers, cafés, banks with ATM, pharmacies, kiosks, laundries, hospital, churches, bus stops.
You can get the historic centre on foot, through Villa Borghese up to Spanish Steps, the most beautiful stroll in Rome. Time from home to Spanish Steps is about 50 minutes on foot, and on the way you’ll have the chance to visit the Galleria Borghese, one of the most interesting museums in Rome. Antway, all the main sights are easily reachable from us by bus in 10-20 min. as we have a lot of bus lines working nearby.
You find in the area the parks that makes Rome so enchanting as well as relevant historical and art sites: Villa Borghese is the most beautiful public park in Rome and houses the wonderful Borghese Gallery, Villa Torlonia, state residence of Mussolini, the splendid complex of S. Agnes basilica and catacombs and Santa Costanza mausoleum, the Catacomb of Priscilla, the The MACRO - Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome, the extraordnary Quartiere Coppedè, the park of Villa Ada, the Roman largest park and, at the time, former residence of the Italian royal family
