What your guests will love about your neighborhood

Location:
Croscombe is a lovely village about 20 miles south of Bristol and Bath and lies halfway between Historic Shepton Mallet and beautiful City of Wells. The village is set in a valley with the River Sheppey running through and is surrounded by fields and ancient woodland with a great network of public footpaths.
The Village has a thriving community with a village shop, school, a pub, church, chapel, school, bus service, community allotments, and children's play area.

Visiting:
3 miles away is the City of Wells, which is the smallest city in England. Wells has a fantastic market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, it has some good restaurants and an amazing Cathedral and Palace.
Also close by is the town of Glastonbury famous for its Tor, Abbey and interesting selection of shops.

Wookey Hole Caves is a great day out with children especially if it is raining!,
Weston Super Mare is not far away, Cheddar Gorge is stunning and well worth a visit and Bath and Bristol are within easy reach.

Located not far from the Bath and West Show ground so is an ideal place to stay for New Wine.

Getting Around

The village is on a bus route and you can get to Wells, Shepton Mallet and Glastonbury as well as Bath and Bristol.
The nearest train stations are Castle Cary and Bath Spa.

Other Things to Note

The house is set on the side of a hill so the garden is terraced, which means that in places there are some steep parts. For this reason it is not suitable for toddlers.

Most of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and the drive goes right up to the kitchen door so it is suitable for anyone that can't make stairs.
