What you will love in the neighborhood
Relaxed neighborhood, friendly neighbors, with very little traffic. Easy access to trails for hiking in the desert or through out the neighborhood. 1 block to the tennis court, 3 blocks to the pool/ramada. Drive/walk to the many recreational facilities provided by GVR ( www.gvrec.org ). When it's time to travel, less than 1 mile to Interstate 19.
Summertime is a great time to visit. Yes it's hot, and we have a monsoon season, but the storms and lightning in the valley are amazing to watch, and when they happen, everything cools off. All the attractions that people come from all over the world to see in the winter months, are open and with no crowds. Explore Tucson with it's historic district, the desert museum, the 'Old Tucson' movie locations. Travel up to Mt. Lemon and leave the desert heat for high mountain lakes and recreation. Close by are the old west cities of Tombstone and Bisbee. Google "Tucson attractions" and you will be amazed at all there is to do. Mexico is only 45 minutes away.
The other nine months are magical. Warm days, Cool nights, and Winter here is like October back in Michigan (Go Blue!).
