What your guests will love about your home
Malibu is 27 miles of beautiful coastline located about 30 miles north of Los Angeles. Our apartment has 2 bedrooms, one with a memory foam king sized mattress, the other a brand new queen sized bed. All brand new appliances and furniture were recently added to the apartment, with a gas stovetop, a dish washer, oven, and microwave. We have our own washer and dryer in a wash room just down the hall from our apartment. Our apartment is on the third floor allowing a view of the ocean from our living room. Any time you'd like to just stay in and watch a movie, you can do so on our 65" TV. We are conveniently close to grocery stores and very close to the beach, however not walking distance. We have surfboards that you are welcome to use, and there are plenty of places that you can take lessons to learn!
One thing that you have to be aware of is that Pepperdine is technically a "dry campus," which means no alcohol, however we are allowed to drink in our apartment because my wife is on staff and we live on campus. As long as you are not waving a bottle of wine around all around campus, you will not be bothered. By drinking in our apartment, you are absolutely not breaking any rules, we just are quiet about it.
What your guests will love about your neighborhood
We live on campus at Pepperdine University, so there are not many people around during the summers because school is not in session, but campus is absolutely beautiful. A gigantic lawn overlooking the ocean on campus is perfect for a relaxing picnic or throwing a frisbee around. There is a running track on campus that celebrities have been known to frequent. Just down the road off campus there are plenty of shopping and dining options.
Santa Monica is about 15 miles away and an easy drive down PCH along the ocean. Santa Monica has more great dining and has a fun night life. Downtown LA and Hollywood are both about 30 miles away respectively and have plenty of things to do, from eating hotdogs at Pink's, seeing an event at the Staples Center, or seeing a movie premier at the Chinese Theater.
