What you will love about this home
Our home is about 300 steps away from the Atlantic coast and some of the most beautiful beaches in the United States. You can walk to several local restaurants and some shops, salons, pharmacy, convenience store, etc. We're about 2 miles from a Publix, the main grocery store. You could walk to Mizner Park (Google it) which is a beautiful plaza full of great dining and shopping, bars, movie theater, amphitheater, etc. (Starbucks) There's also another plaza across the street from Mizner Park that is full of even more restaurants, shops and bars for local nightlife. The house is on the barrier island in Boca Raton, Florida, one of the most beautiful cities in Florida, and dare I say, the United States. (I might be biased because I grew up here.) There is plenty to see and do within an hour or two or three. Disneyworld is 3 hours away. Cape Canaveral is about 4 hours away. The Everglades National Park is about one hour. South Beach, Miami is one hour away. Boca Raton is an upscale community located in between Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach, FL. You can shop, dine, watch Polo, explore nature at the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center (an environmental center that hatches and protects our turtle population that breeds on our local beaches). Florida is one of the top destinations for tourists coming to the United States and rightly so. Our weather is warm almost year round. At its worst, it might be 40 or 30 degrees, but that's for about 10 days out of the whole year. Most of the time, our temperatures are in the 80s and 90s. The most pleasant times of the year (Fall, Winter, some of Spring) are in the 70s. E-mail me and I will tell you anything you want to know, but the best part of living here is walking to the beach which takes about 2 minutes. We live right off of A1A, the street that runs alongside of the beach. And you can walk to several parks, golf courses, bar-b-que areas, restaurants, almost anything is within walking or close driving distance.
What you will love in the neighborhood
The thing you'll like best is the BEACH!!!! Beautiful beach right across the street. And you can walk to most anything you need. Very safe neighborhood in the East side of Boca Raton (the native side). We were here first and the town grew West. Boca is a more quiet town (compared to Miami and Fort Lauderdale), but still plenty to do and see if you like the beach, sea turtles, sea life, great dining, shopping, nature trails, golf, Polo, strolling through the main city park (Mizner Park), some nightlife, local bars and hang-outs (Whale's Rib, Hurricane Alley). We are close enough to explore old Florida living and close enough to enjoy the new Latin hot nightlife in South Beach! Something for everyone.
