What you will love about this home
Our two-story row house is located in the southern section of Chicago, in the Historic Pullman District. This small neighborhood of four square blocks is actually a National Monument, and the National Park Service runs a welcome center just blocks from our door. Coming home feels like stepping back in time (at least for America!) and it is a pleasant and peaceful neighborhood to retreat to after a day in the city. We are at a distance from the loop and major cultural attractions, but these are VERY easily accessible via Metra train (commuter rail service), which stops just three blocks away and gets you downtown in approx. 20 minutes. The charm of an old home with newly renovated modern conveniences, plenty of light and a back deck for relaxing outside.
What you will love in the neighborhood
Built in 1878 and designed by a single architect as a "model town" to house the workers of the George F. Pullman factory, there is great architectural and historic interest in the area. Conveniently located just blocks from the Metra Electric line station, downtown and all major cultural attractions are easily accessible. A very pleasant and neighborly community.
