What you will love in the neighborhood

Cambridge is a vibrant and unique city and Inman Square, Harvard Square, and Central Square have everything -- world class universities with all of their cultural offerings, restaurants, shopping,
all of your shopping & travelling needs, superb pubs, theater, music, nightclubs, gorgeous old neighborhoods to explore, history galore, easy access to Boston, friendly and helpful inhabitants,
little kids’ playgrounds all over the place, easy bicycling, easy transportation by subway or bus or walking, and lovely bike paths nearby. Beautiful ocean beaches within an hour’s drive, also city
beaches accessible by public transportation. Safe, beautiful, full of the energy of thousands of university students and intellectually curious, open-minded inhabitants. Where I was born and where I
was lucky enough to move back to 2 years ago.

Additional information

Lovely place to relax and put your feet up. Very comfortable beds, cozy living room, attractive and welcoming furnishings, large kitchen with every convenience. Easy to entertain or to just unwind
after a busy day. The back yard is especially nice to enjoy, sitting in the shade of the pine trees or having a meal on the patio. We are close to everything, and I mean everything! We are a 2-to-20
minute walk from grocery stores, children’s parks, movie houses, theaters, comedy venues, restaurants, nightclubs, pubs, concerts, museums, universities, etc. There is public transportation in the
way of buses, subways, and trains within a few minute’s walk. You will not need a car (we don’t own one), but if you have one there is plenty of parking on our street and you can use our guest
parking pass, which is good all over Cambridge. There is also ZipCar, an easy car hourly "rental" system with many locations near us, and bicycle rental stations all over Cambridge and Boston. A few
points : we are on the top (third) floor and there is no elevator. We do not have central A/C but we have window units in each bedroom and one in the living room; the house can be as cool as you like
in hot weather. The washer/dryer is in the basement, so plan on hiking up and down stairs a bit while you’re here.
