What you will love about this home
Stunning House Overlooking Lake Champlain
Our house is ideally situated in a small cul de sac community called Queen City Park that is bordered by Lake Champlain and a 100-acre woodland park. While we are a 15-minute car ride to downtown Burlington, we enjoy the quiet of a dead end street in a very special community. Although our address is officially in South Burlington, we are right on the border of Burlington.
Our house faces the community green that overlooks the lake. At the far end of the green away from our house are picnic benches, a playground, and basketball court.
On the first floor there is a large great room with kitchen, dining room, and living room. There is also an office, a den with a queen sized sofa bed, and a half bath.
There are three bedrooms on the second floor and a full-bath. The master bedroom overlooks the community green and the lake.
On the ground level there is also an apartment with one bedroom, full bathroom, and a great room with living room, dining area and full kitchen. The apartment is accessible from the main floor living room and the ground level in the back of the house.
The house is very modern and light, furnished with cherry wood furniture and comfortable sofas and chairs. The dining table seats 8 people. The kitchen is fully equipped.
What you will love in the neighborhood
A peace of heaven by the lake. 15-20 minute walk to stores, restaurant and movies. 5 min drive to downtown Burlington, museums, restaurants, cultural activities, colleges, etc. This neighborhood is surrounded by Lake Champlain, natural areas and Red Rock Park. All the residents in the 68 dwellings know each other and manage a common water system, recreational resources and a community garden. This is a very unique environment. Oh, there is a canoe on the beach, a 3 minute walk, if you would like to paddle on the lake.
