What you will love about this home
We have a spacious 5 bedrooms house in a newly developed secured compound (gated community). Facilities include 24hr security, parking, tennis courts, swimming pools, gym, playground, gardens, nature. Location is 10 minutes drive to Thao Dien, District 2 where you can find everything you may need....restaurants, bookshops, cafes, supermarkets, beauty salons, etc.. Everything!!! This area is away from the busy city, very safe, less noisy then the Centre of Saigon. Our house is newly built, comfortable, and children friendly. We have installed a central-air system for the ground floor, and conditioners throughout the house. It has ADSL internet, cable TV, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven with steamer option, and a gas stove. We also have a bicycle and a motorbike for use if required. There is also the compound bus that takes residents and guests to either District 2 (10 minutes) or District 1- Saigon City Centre (15 minutes) for a minimal fee and it runs from 7am to 7 pm.
What you will love in the neighborhood
Ho Chi Minh is one of the more exotic and popular City to visit at present. I am a Canadian and my husband is French. We have been living in Saigon for more than 10years, and it has been an incredible experience. There are lots to do within the City Center for activities - numerous of tennis courts are scattered around the city; health clubs in 5 stars hotels offering day spa visits, of course shopping, and lots of Vietnamese restaurants, street food etc...!!! Within driving distance, you will find golf courses and beaches, or you could take short weekend trips to the coast/seaside (Vung Tau, Mui Ne, Nha Trang) and/or fly a couple of hours north and you can be in the ancient town of Hoi An or China Beach in Danang. Go further north and you can be in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam with its wonderful culture and beautiful french architecture still being preserve to date. By living here, we have had great opportunities to explore many wonderful places around Southeast Asia - Bangkok, Cambodia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur etc... are just a skip and hop away on a plane. If you are coming to Asia, ensure you add a little time to come to Vietnam, you won't be disappointed. It will definitely be an experience to remember. Cheers and Happy Traveling!
